Being a part of Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year 2020 was a memorable and motivating experience. Being named Sky Arts’ portrait artist of the year gave me the chance to showcase my artistic process to a larger audience and push the limits of portraiture in a prestigious art contest. Every online portrait was transformed into a moment of expression that combined intuition and observation, requiring concentration, creativity, and a deep connection to the subject.

My passion for figurative art and using paint to tell stories was strengthened by my experience as a Sky Portrait Artist. My work has been seen by collectors, curators, and art gallerists who value uniqueness and emotion, and my participation in the portrait artist of the year winners community has opened up new creative opportunities. This experience, which marks a turning point in my artistic career, continues to shape my drawing concepts and approach to portraiture from the very first sketch to the very last brushstroke.
